The site was down for a week or two recently when an attempt to upgrade to Drupal 6.4 was botched and I subsequently gave up on it, leaving it in offline mode for a long time. I've just tackled it again and managed to fix it, so all is good.

That's all for now.

I'm currently migrating the site over to the new version of Drupal, 6.2. I've been quite behind with the releases, with the latest 5.x release being 5.7, I had 5.2 installed.

Note to self: when next migrating content over, don't accidentally delete the directory that has content file attachments.

Unfortunately the previous greeny theme that I liked hasn't been ported to 6.2 yet, so I'm using the default Bluemarine theme for now.

In the lead-up to KDE4, Amarok will be undergoing a number of large changes both under the hood, and cosmetically with the UI. I managed to interview a developer Jeff Mitchell to talk about the things changing in Amarok from the 1.4 stable branch to 2.0, including the playlist redesign, the context view and the new web services framework.

Amara Emerson: Amarok is the flagship audio player for KDE and Linux. What in your opinion sets it apart from other similar players?
